Ash Scattering at Sea

Honor your loved ones wishes with an intimate private scattering of ashes at sea.  Gathering with close family and friends gives opportunity to share memories, offer words of sympathy, comfort and support as they start the voyage towards healing.  Our private ceremony includes:

• A certificate of latitude and longitude of final resting place signed by captain and witness.

• A reading by the Captain of your choice.

• Eight Bells (end of watch)

• Six carnations

Memorial wreaths, flower petals and biodegradable urns available upon request.  

Unattended Scatterings

For families that cannot be there, we offer and unattended scattering.  Capt. Mike will perform private ceremony including a reading and ringing of the ships bell.  A certificate of latitude and longitude of final resting place will be mailed to you after your loved one has been committed to the sea. 

Non local residents can send ashes certified mail. Please call Capt. Mike Tennis (516) 946-2104 to make arrangements.
